Quillaby's Porcua-Cannon.

My little Hedgdejra can use his back as a cannon. If he does his body can inflate like a puffer fish and when he reaches a certain size, he can pop those quills out like bullets.

Also these species can also use these quills as a guide point when they feel lost. When someone is poked with a quill the victim can inflate to huge sizes whether it be air, water etc...

In this case... Quillaby just got hungry and ate a lot so that's why he's like this.
